Android beta terms

Flock AFO helps you explore public, community-mapped camera records, save local snapshots and notes, and compare routes. It is independent and is not affiliated with Flock Safety. Initial Android beta features may change; supporter purchases and closed-app camera alerts are unavailable. Core map, camera, nearby, saved, note, and route features have no app usage gate.

Camera records and classifications are community information, not a guarantee of coverage or present conditions. They do not establish ownership, operation, scanning activity, or a camera-free route. Cached records and saved snapshots may be out of date. Consult the source record and retain the displayed attribution. Your private note is your own text, not a public camera fact or a submission to the source database.

Directions and distance estimates are informational. Use the app safely; obey road conditions and applicable rules. A handoff to another map app produces that app's route and may differ from the route inspected in Flock AFO. Availability depends on connectivity, Android permissions and services, and third-party providers; missing results do not prove that no cameras or routes exist.

Google Maps Platform features are subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy, incorporated here by reference for Google's services. Keep Google and other required source attribution visible. OpenStreetMap-derived records carry OpenStreetMap contributor attribution and the Open Database License; these rights and obligations remain with the source data.

Saved information is local to this Android app. You control removal of saved cameras and notes. The beta provides no account, synchronization, or recovery service for local information. Review the Android privacy policy for actual transmissions and device storage. Use Flock AFO support for questions or corrections; source-record edits must go through the relevant community source.
