Corrections
Help keep the record accurate
Report a correction
Email [email protected] with the discovery title, the exact statement or broken link, a brief explanation and a reliable source URL with its page or section where possible.
Separate a factual error from a different interpretation. Tell us if an image has incorrect context, attribution or rights information.
Protect people’s privacy
Do not send victim identities, unredacted private records, contact details or attempts to reconstruct redactions. Public availability does not make unnecessary disclosure appropriate. A person’s name in a record is not evidence of wrongdoing.
What happens next
We assess reports against the cited sources. A supported correction may update the wording, evidence label, source link or image. Materially inaccurate or unsafe content can be withdrawn. Reports are not published automatically, and we cannot promise a response time.
Withdrawal checks require a connection. Sensitive dossiers also require a recent matching check. An older offline copy of an ordinary discovery may not reflect a correction until the app receives an update.
