No app account is required. Curated search runs on your device. Saved discovery identifiers, browsing position and other local app state stay on the device and are not synchronized by the app. The app excludes its local state from device backups. Uninstalling the app removes that local app state. The app has no advertising or analytics SDK.

The app contacts aroundfindout.com to check catalog availability and withdrawals and may download catalog updates. Cloudflare hosts this service and can process ordinary network information such as your IP address, request time and requested URL. Your saved list and curated search text are not included in these content-check requests. Some sensitive dossiers are available only after a current matching check.

When you explicitly tap an archive Search button, the app sends your query, selected provider and any pagination token to rabbithole-api.aroundfindout.com, hosted on Cloudflare Workers. The service processes your network address for request limiting and sends the query to the selected provider, GovInfo or the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI). The provider receives the query and the service's network request. Avoid entering private or sensitive information in archive queries.

The application service is configured without a query database, response cache or raw request logging. Infrastructure and providers may process request/security information under their own policies. Archive results are held for the current app session rather than saved as curated discoveries. This does not mean the network request is anonymous.

We disclose archive search history and other network/security data, including IP addresses and the derived rate-limit key, for app functionality and provider service analytics. We also disclose your email address and customer-support content when you choose to contact us. These categories are conservatively marked as linked to you; we do not claim that hashing a network address makes it anonymous. None is used for tracking or advertising.

Provider policies describe network logs and service statistics, but do not establish an exact API-specific retention period. We therefore do not promise immediate deletion by every provider. The native app has no analytics SDK and does not upload your saved discoveries, reading history or local curated searches. Support correspondence is used for support, not marketing.

Opening a source or website sends a request to that publisher, which can receive ordinary browser and network information and apply its own privacy practices. Choosing Search GovInfo website sends your current query directly to GovInfo in the browser. Native sharing sends the selected title and source link to the destination you choose.

Tips use Apple’s StoreKit service. Apple handles billing, payment details and purchase history under its own policies. The app does not receive payment-card details. Rabbit Hole keeps a temporary thank-you acknowledgment in memory and a device-local date after a verified tip to pause optional support invitations for 90 days. The invitation state is excluded from device backups and is not sent to Around Find Out. Tip amounts and purchase history are not stored by the app. Tips unlock no features and are not subscriptions.

Apple operates TestFlight and processes beta participation, installation, diagnostic and feedback information under its terms and privacy practices. Around Find Out can receive the beta feedback and diagnostics Apple makes available to developers.

If you email [email protected], your message and address are handled by the email providers involved. Around Find Out uses Cloudflare Email Routing to forward support mail to a Google-hosted mailbox. We use information you send to respond and investigate the issue. Please avoid sending private app records or unnecessary sensitive information. Contact us to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to necessary legal recordkeeping.

These pages are hosted by Cloudflare. Hosting and security services process ordinary network requests and may use security-related cookies. The shared website may include Cloudflare Web Analytics; this is separate from the native app. We do not sell personal information or use behavioral advertising in Rabbit Hole.
